Re: Meeting Schedule and Important News

Happy New Year! We hope and pray that 2023 has started off well for you and your family. The legislature is in full swing and our new year started with a very productive organizational convention. Many thanks to our outgoing officers, Kim Perry and Hess Yntema for their faithful work over the last election cycle. Please help me in welcoming our newly elected officers, Ward officers, Central Committee Members and State Central Committee Members. (See Attached List of Convention Results). We are busy filling in some of the positions that were not self nominated. We look forward to a successful Get Out the Vote in the 2024 election. It will take lots of work from all of us, but I know that we are up to the task ahead.

We will hold our first monthly meeting on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. Our meeting is earlier in the month than normal to allow all of our officers to be present. The meeting will focus on a post game analysis of the last election by the numbers and analysis of the process. WE NEED ALL POLL CHALLENGERS AND THOSE THAT WERE ELECTION DAY CALLERS to be present to assist in analyzing the watching/challenging process, use of I360 database, and calling of voters.  We must continue to improve our methods of Get Out the Vote. So this is a call to those poll challengers and election day callers to come and help us critique the game and game plan.

All of our monthly meetings through July of this year will take place at the Grace Community Church located at 935 West Mescalero Road. Please enter through the east double doors and we will be meeting in Room 105. Except for the February meeting, all of our meetings will occur at our normal time of the second Monday of each month.

SAVE THE DATE FOR THE FOLLOWING MONDAY MEETING TIMES (Agendas for Meetings are Developing – More Information as that Develops):

February 6th   Post Election Analysis and Critique

March 13th TBA

April 10th Post Session Legislative Update

May 8th TBA

June 12th TBA

July 10th TBA

Also, all WARD OFFICERS AND EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS need to SAVE the DATE of TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 21ST AT 5:30 P.M. at Grace Community Church for our first Ward executives meeting. We will discuss very important information on Ward structure and duties and responsibilities as Ward officers. These organizational meetings of our Ward executives are crucial to our success in GOTV efforts at the precinct level.

I look forward to seeing all of you at the meetings ahead. I know that the last election did not go well statewide and nationally. I know many of us have been somewhat discouraged. I know that we will not let what goes on in the Roundhouse and in DC distract us from our mission/purpose as the RPCC to elect local Republicans and to Get Out the Vote. You have all proven in the past your devotion to being patriots with conservative values and elected Republican leaders. Let’s continue the tradition of being the best Republican county in the state and one of the best in the nation.

Thankful for each one of you. Let’s roll up our sleeves and go to work for victory in 2024.
